EP, MP, LP, BUT, SB, BB: Early position, middle position, late position, button, small blind, big blind.
CS0: Calling station Zero This player
will call you down with hand, and I mean ANY hand. It is impossible
to bluff this player, but he will pay you off. This player
rarely bluffs.
CSA: Calling station Ace This player will
call down with ace high unless the board looks really ugly
with draws that hit.
CSK: Calling station King This player will
call down with king high unless the board looks really ugly
with draws that hit or an ace.
CS: Calling station This
player will call down with 2nd pair or 3rd pair on an any
board just in case your bluffing. Its very hard to bluff this
player. They gotta pay to see your hand.
PAA: Plays any Ace This player will play
any ace in an unraised or raised pot. If they hit their ace
they will call you down no matter what the kicker. A times
they will not bet their ace until the river fearing they are
out kicked. Usually if a preflop raiser bets all the way down
then checks the river this player will assume his ace if good
and bet.
PASA: Plays any Suited Ace This player will play any suited ace in an unraised or raised pot. If they hit their ace they will call you down no matter what the kicker. A times they will not bet their ace until the river fearing they are out kicked. Usually if a preflop raiser bets all the way down then checks the river this player will assume his ace if good and bet.
(xx"s") Hole cards This is used
to represent how a player plays a particular hand. For example...
"folds (AKs) unimproved on the turn" means
this player folds AK suited when unimproved on the turn. Add
an "s" after the cards to represent if its suited.
PF: Preflop This is a symbol to represent
preflop action.
LI: Limps This player will limp in with
premium hands. "LI PF (AA)
SC: Suited connectors just refers to a hand type the player plays
SP: Small pair usually refers to 22-66 in most cases.
FI: First In When the player in question performs an action first in the pot.
example... "LI SC FI EP" this player limps suited connectors when first in to the pot in early position.
RS: Raises This is a symbol to represent
when a player raises for example... "RS any ace PF"
this means this player will raise any ace pre-flop.
RRS: Reraises This is a symbol to represent
when a player reraises for example... "RS/RRS on bluffs"
this means this player will raise and reraise when he bluffs.
CC: Cold Calls This player cold calls with
hands "CC PF (AA, KK)" This means cold
calls preflop with AA and KK.
TPTK: Top pair / top kicker This is a
symbol to represent top pair and top kicker for example...
"RS/RRS TP TK on flop" means this player
raises and reraised top pair with top kicker on the flop.
TPGK: Top pair / good kicker This is a symbol to represent top pair and good kicker for example... "RS/RRS TP TK on flop" means this player raises and reraised top pair with top kicker on the flop.
HU: Headsup This is a symbol to represent
a players action when heads up
BvB, SBvB, BvBB: (blind vs blind) Relates to his behavior when in blind vs blind position. SBvB means he is the SB, BvBB means he is the BB. example "RSes BvBB if I limp FI" means this player raises when in the BB when I limp first in on the SB.
?: Questionable Use this when you belive
a player does something but there is not enough evidence to
support it for example... "LI (AA) PF UTG?" means you think this player might be capable of limping under the gun with AA by his action but you have not seen his cards.
!: Occurances Use this to signify occurances
of a particular action. This is very helpful in identifying
patterns for example... "bluffs!!!!!!!"
this player has attempted bluffing 7 times since I have played
with him.
