Heads Up

Here we have how certain hands will hold out vs other hands when heads up. Heads up is when there are only two people in the pot to see the flop. Generally you should not call a raise cold (2 bets or more) without a premium hand or with lots of other people in the pot that called the raise and only with certain hands. This is especially true if the raise came from an early position player. But there are occasions when you have a very aggressive player in late position or in the small blind that keeps trying to take your big blind when all fold to him. These cases are when it is important to know how your hand will stand up to other hands. The chart shows the percentage chance that you will make a hand that will beat your opponent.

All-in: The chance you will win if you see all 5 board cards.

Just Flop: The chance you will be ahead if you see only 3 board cards, the flop.

The chart only represents made hands
Suited cards add 11% for a flush draw
Connecting cards add 10.5% for a straight draw
Suited and connected cards add 16% for either a flush or 8 out straight draw

AK-AJ vs 22-99 poor players will call you down to the end so you have to hit a pair or a draw to win.
vs a hand like Ax or K(face) you are a 75% favorite seeing all 5 cards and an 80% favorite on the flop.
TT vs 22-99 poor players will call you down to the end which is good because you are an 80% favorite
vs a hand like 2 face cards A to T you are a slight favorute seeing all 5 cards and an 66% favorite on the flop if they don't hit a pair or a good draw.

Situation: You raise pre flop and get reraised or cold called behind you.

The table above shows the most common hands that you would consider raising with. We assumed opponents will be calling with similar hands. We have also included dominated hands poor players call with.
