New Additional Book Reviews

Harrington on Cash Games
Volume. 1
Harrington on Cash Games (How to Win at No-Limit Hold'em Money Games) Vol. 1 (Dan Harrington): Dan outlines strategies and concepts to simplify NL cash game play. If you have been playing some NL cash this book is an excellect next step.

Harrington on Cash Games
Volume II
Harrington on Cash Games, Volume II: How to Play No-Limit Hold 'em Cash Games (Dan Harrington): Volume 2 covers more complex concepts while keeping the same simplistic approach to play. This book is for more advanced players but again, an excellent book.

Professional No-Limit
Hold 'em: Volume I
Professional No-Limit Hold 'em: Volume I (Matt Flynn, Sunny Mehta, Ed Miller): This book is quite advanced and harder to read than most poker books. But there are several concepts that apply to NL cash games that are important. I do feel the authors don't explain adequetely the proper use of the information and readers will require some deeper thinking to make correct use of it. Overall a good book to read.

Winning in
Tough Hold 'em Games

Winning in Tough Hold 'em Games: Short-Handed and High-Stakes Concepts and Theory for Limit Hold 'em (Nick Grudzien, Geoff Herzog): Advanced book for high stakes tough limit games. Excellent book from what I heard of others. I have only skimmed the book and there is a lot of good material.

The Mathematics of Poker
The Mathematics of Poker (Bill Chen): A very difficult read but has good information about how probability works within the game. It illustrates complex formulas and calculations explaining how hands and situations compare to each other.

Little Green Book
Little Green Book: Lessons and Teachings in No Limit Texas Hold'em (Phil Gordon): Well written starter book with all the basics for no limit holdem. I recommend this book as an intoduction book. It is an easy read and explains many key factors to no limit holdem.
